FIELD DAY
On Tuesday, 20th September 2022, the Malawi Macadamia Association conducted a field day on the use of biologicals in pest management.
The first session of the field day involved practical demonstrations of Beauvitech (a biological solution targeting thrips) at Masawa Estate and, second session, were presentations by Dudutech and STIHL.
The first session had demonstrations for Beauvitech at Masawa Estate (Eastern Produce) and were facilitated by Mr. James Kammwamba who is the general manager of Eastern Produce Malawi and Victoria Investments Limited.
The second session had presentations at Thyolo Sports Club which were facilitated by John Ogechah who is the Technical Product Manager at Dudutech. The presentations introduced Dudutech and showcased its integrated pest management solutions for key challenges facing farmers.
